Moments From the Rock

My first night here at Slippery Rock was pretty cool. There was a hyponosis show that we had to go to and it was fun. All freshmen were there and during the show, many people were "getting hypnotized". Although, I think many people were faking, I liked how the hypnotist interacted with the students.

    My first night at Slippery Rock, I also went to the hypnotist and had so much fun. It was a great way to kick off a new year, and ultimately, my first year of college. I was not one of the people who got hypnotized, however, people nearby were in a trance. The hypnotist had a great stage presence and I would even compare him to a stand up comedian. Truly, I'm grateful that I had the experience, and that others also enjoyed and think fondly of that event.

One thing on campus that is happening that I’m not involved in is club sports. There is basketball, volleyball, baseball, flag football and a few others. There is also many different live events that happen like theater musicals and dance performances. We have such a wide variety of clubs that everyone can find something that fits their interests. Game nights also happen every once in a while.

Fine By Me

 I agree with a lot of paternalistic laws. These are policies that are restricting something or forcing you to do something for that persons own good. These are policies like banning the use of drugs and wearing a seatbelt while driving.
