Hard Time At The Rock

Basically, the whole fall semester was hard for me mainly because of General Chemistry I. I did terrible on the first exam because I didn't know what to expect, so for the rest of the semester I had to work to dig myself out of that hole. I was studying for chemistry almost every day and I was also taking Biology which wasn't as hard as chemistry, but it also took a lot of studying for that as well. Most of the exams in these two class were days apart so I had to figure out how I was going to study for both. I found myself studying chemistry more and my grade would go up, but my Biology grade would drop a little bit. It was really all about finding that balance.

One thing on campus that is happening that I’m not involved in is club sports. There is basketball, volleyball, baseball, flag football and a few others. There is also many different live events that happen like theater musicals and dance performances. We have such a wide variety of clubs that everyone can find something that fits their interests. Game nights also happen every once in a while.

Moments From the Rock

My first night here at Slippery Rock was pretty cool. There was a hyponosis show that we had to go to and it was fun. All freshmen were there and during the show, many people were "getting hypnotized". Although, I think many people were faking, I liked how the hypnotist interacted with the students.

Fine By Me

 I agree with a lot of paternalistic laws. These are policies that are restricting something or forcing you to do something for that persons own good. These are policies like banning the use of drugs and wearing a seatbelt while driving.
